Stanley Burton LaBelle passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the age of 73. He was born in Minneapolis, MN on January 15, 1948. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents William and Ellen LaBelle. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sally, his two daughters: Erin LaBelle and Renee Andrus; his grandson: Micajah Andrus, and his two sisters: Darlene Labelle and Mary Venaas.
Stan played football, basketball and baseball in high school and lettered in all of them. He worked for H.B. Fuller for many years and helped develop new products for which he has two patents in coatings and adhesives. Later he moved into sales.
Stan enjoyed fishing, golf, duck hunting and later, woodworking. He made numerous pieces of furniture and many wood toys. Stan was loved by many and will be dearly missed. He was an organ donor and was able to donate his liver at the end.
Stan’s memorial service will be held at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, Georgia on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm following his visitation from 1:00 pm until service time.
