Obituary
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Susan A. Buchfellner, age 67, of Blairsville, Georgia passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 in Gainesville, Georgia.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Susan worked in business, with her work ethic climbing her to the top of several businesses, resulting in a promotional move to Atlanta, Georgia. Before retiring, she found she enjoyed serving others through positions she held in human resources and victim advocacy. She loved picnics, camping, crafting, games, and rides through the mountains. She battled illness for quite some time, but she was a fighter and it didn’t stop her from trying to do the things she loved.
She is survived by her daughter, Gabrielle Riddle Crider/ Shane (Gainesville, GA), her son, Damond Riddle (Cincinnati, OH); and her grandchildren Preston Shane Crider (15) and Zayne Gabriel Crider (10).
She is also survived by her sister, Gail Romine (Blairsville, GA), niece Danielle Romine Tomlin/ Matt (Oakwood, GA) and several cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Celeste (Story) McGonnell and her oldest sister, Pamela Cooper.
In Honor of Susan’s wishes, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date TBD.
