Mr. Thomas (Tom) Wickersham, age 61, of Cleveland, Georgia (formally of West Covina, CA) passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center on Sunday, December 6th, 2020, following a sudden illness. Thomas was a devoted follower of his Savior Jesus Christ, loving husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. He was married to Scarlett Hare Wickersham for 35 years until his untimely passing. Thomas, graduated from West Covina High School and later retired as a Lighting Engineer after more than two decades of faithful service. Papa Tom, as he was known to his grandchildren, was a loving man who was always sharing insight about life, Jesus, family and sports. Papa Tom loved his family and his God; he would be the first one to tell you that he was not perfect, but he would also remind you that God loved us all just as we are. He was preceded in death by his grandson Gabriel Thomas McCollum (his namesake), father, Larry Wickersham, brother Mike Wickersham and nephew, Ryan Wickersham.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Scarlett Hare Wickersham of Cleveland, mother, Lorraine Wickersham of Vista (CA), sisters, Robin Chavez of Little Rock (AR) and Karen (Lothar) Baum of Vista (CA), brother, Ron (Jean) Wickersham of Oceanside (CA), daughter Sabrina (Nicholas) Armour of Gainesville (GA), grandsons, Issac, Seth and Noah McCollum, nieces, Nicole Schafer of Little Rock (AR), Meagan (Rob) Knepp of San Diego (CA), Keri (Elijah) Rasmussen of Oceanside (CA), nephew Tommy Wickersham of Oceanside (CA) and a host of beloved great-nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.
